Ancient Raindrops

My undergraduate honours project examined the use of lithified raindrop imprints in determining atmospheric pressure at the time of crater formation. I am happy to provide a copy of my thesis upon request and my results are presented in the journal Earth and Planetary Science Letters (pdf available upon request).

This work was covered in The GuardianUVic’s Science Matter Newsletter, and a short web doc.

Fish and Biogeochemistry

From 2013 to 2015 pursued my master’s degree in the Earth System Dynamics Laboratory at McGill University. My research focused on compiling marine sediment records to search for changes to ecosystem structure and biogeochemistry as a result of fish stock fluctuations. A copy of my thesis is available upon request and a manuscript is currently in preparation for publication.
